Good News

We just learned that NYC Housing will let our Bronxdale congregation continue to worship at the Sonia Sotomayor Community Center through the end of February!  And we are hopeful that we will be able to negotiate a way to remain there on a permanent basis.

Amazingly,  the story of our little congregation being asked by NYC Housing to vacate the Community Center has become national news.  On one level, I have enjoyed the spotlight being on our church.  But even I (and I have never been shy of the spotlight!) got tired of all of the attention.  I thank the Lord that this seems to all be behind us (at least until March!) and we can continue to worship peacefully at both of our church’s locations.
