    Bronx Bible Church found a home in the Bronx River Community and opened our doors on July 15, 2001. On September 18, 2011 we added a second location in the Sotomayor Community Center. We praise God that both communities have welcomed us with open arms. Our congregation is doing all we can to make a difference. Please browse through our site and get to know us better.   • What We Believe

    At Bronx Bible Church, the Bible is our complete authority. We believe that Jesus, God’s Son, died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead. Anyone who asks Jesus to save him and take control of his life will be saved (Romans 10:13). You won’t hear the pastor preaching his own ideas, or preaching about politics. The content of his messages comes right from the Bible. Our Statement of Faith can be found HERE

    Every Sunday morning at Bronx Bible Church people of different colors and cultures gather together to worship the Lord as one. We do all we can to treat everyone like family, and make our visitors feel welcome. God is not a ‘respecter of persons’ and neither are we. We believe that this friendly atmosphere sets us apart from most churches.

Good News

We just learned that NYC Housing will let our Bronxdale congregation continue to worship at the Sonia Sotomayor Community Center through the end of February!  And we are hopeful that we will be able to negotiate a way to remain there on a permanent basis.

Amazingly,  the story of our little congregation being asked by NYC Housing to vacate the Community Center has become national news.  On one level, I have enjoyed the spotlight being on our church.  But even I (and I have never been shy of the spotlight!) got tired of all of the attention.  I thank the Lord that this seems to all be behind us (at least until March!) and we can continue to worship peacefully at both of our church’s locations.
